How Solvaro checks for new desktop builds and what to do when an update is available.

Check for updates
- Open Settings and find Updates (or the version label in the app menu).
- Choose Check for updates. Solvaro contacts the release channel for your platform.
- When a build is ready, download and install it, then relaunch.
Windows and Mac notes
- Windows builds are not Authenticode-signed yet; SmartScreen may warn once per build.
- Mac builds are not notarized yet; right-click → Open the first time after an update.
- Your connectors and local index stay on the machine across updates.
