When it opens

NowBar and History expose Ping L3 when this session has a ticket id or a filed bug id. File bug Create is not ping. Without a ticket or filed bug, the panel stays closed.

What send actually does

You pick a path: Send Slack DM, Post to Slack channel, Assign on Linear, Assign on GitHub, Post Jira comment, or Open email. Success copy matches that path. Webhook-as-DM is not used. @channel is not used.

What it does not do

Ping does not open a PagerDuty incident, and it does not tell you an engineer was paged. It sends the message or assignment you chose, and the confirmation names that path.
